Our Ultimate Zen Spot while Traveling in the Northwest

During trying times and during all times, it’s important to reconnect with nature and calm your mind and body. This is the spot we’ve been coming to regularly for just that.

It is such a beautiful and soothing place with lush, towering trees, ferns, moss, and the beautiful sound of the rushing creek that spills into Lake Coeur d’Alene. I (Christi) have been coming here for solace since I was a teenager. It has some kind of magic and seems to heal stress and make you instantly calm. This particular day, it was raining and the fragrance in the air was intoxicating. The trees provided cover as we practiced Yoga, Meditation, and took in the ultimate Forest Bath. The nearby campground is the first place we ever spent a night in our home on wheels the day we made the transition into full-time RV living. Until that day, I didn’t have the freedom to be in this particular favorite place of mine as often.

Wherever you are, we hope that you are going into nature as often as possible. It’s everywhere. And, it’s necessary.

Have peace, be kind, be well!

After hustling really hard in Los Angeles for over 15 years, we decided to minimize our lives and cash in our most valuable form of currency - TIME!
